for some reason, this list seems more about quantity, than huge x-mas-morning excitement. 2009 had so many of those kinds: Soundscape, maudlin of the Well, Kiss Kiss, The Dear Hunter, Mew, Imogen Heap, Local Natives, Transatlantic, BTBAM, and of course Kevin Gilbert.
there are some there certainly..but I'm hoping some of these names will surprise me. Debut albums should be there at least, which is always something to look fwd to.
