Album Anticipation List/Calendar (Summer 2015)
I'm sure there's many I'm missing and may find myself editing in, in here. And a video could be made about this upcoming period of new records, as I recall thinking when I made the preview video a few months back, it may make sense to forget about a preview for the "year" or "season" but just every few months, etc.
Anyway, for now, this is a reasonably good list of many of the records I'm anticipating over the next few months.
Kaddisfly and The Dear Hunter are the Blue Chips of course. It feels like 2007 again, lol...maybe The River Empires will find it's way onto 1 of these lists as well 1 of these years.

-The Bird and the Bee - Recreational Love
-Mutemath - Vitals
-Klimt 1918 - Die Sentimentale Jugend

-The Galactic Cowboy Orchestra - Earthlift
Also some confirmation about 2016 artists:
-Ours: likely early in 2016 ala February or March per a listening party already setup early in the year.
-Dream the Electric Sleep Spring 2016 per a post yesterday. They are working with Rush producer Nick Raskulinecz right now

God is an Astronaut - Helios | Erebus (2014-2015)
http://godisanastronaut.com/
Another record from one of the better Post Rock bands still around. Being released on June 21st. I swear their last 2 records, I was up for when they came out, and then I just forgot about them.
edit: Origins from 2013
Age of the Fifth Sun from 2010, I recall liking, although not as much as their earlier records, In fairness, that was not that long after I got into these guys., But Origins I don't remember a ton about, so I guess with this new upcoming record, I can't totally expect a huge amount from.
Their best record for me still remains 2005's All Is Violent, All Is Bright. If I recall, features some nice samples and of course piano. Frankly, 2 of the things of what I love and think of this band for.
Per the trailer for Helios | Erebus, there isn't any indication of a ton of that on this record, but it's only 49 seconds.

1. Little Bird 05:36
2. Mechanical Minds 04:47
3. Strangest Tides (Feat. Heymun) 05:08
4. Dark Clouds Mean War 06:01
1. Violent Lights (Feat. Alex Hedley) 04:12
2. Drumfire 03:53
3. Neotenie 04:52
4. Between Two Worlds (Feat. Freyja) 07:41
What the hell KScope? yet ANOTHER band, like iamthemorning, that appear to be right up my alley on their label.
Holy shit this is some atmospheric, incredibly dreamy stuff! And this (British but at also East Indian-based?) band, it appears are taking the Pure Reason Revolution/Revere approach of releasing a bunch of singles and EP's before their 1st full-length, which it sounds like they are working on? or maybe close to finished and I imagine may get released this Season.
Some stuff here about it on their website
Some of this stuff reminds me of maybe 2 bands, 1 being the late/great Post/Dreamy Rock band from Portland, Oregon Forest Park, but maybe even more, Canadian chillwave/dream/post rock band who I last heard about in 2012, Memoryhouse.
edit: They also remind me a fair amount of the band *Shels, mainly the percussion, vocals, and use of grand sounding trumpet almost as a texture. And when they use electronics, they can sound a bit like God is an Astronaut (or Toria).
That seems vague. I suppose I hear elements of many other "post" bands (Sigur Ros?, *Shels? God is an Astronaut), including KScope band Nosound I suppose. But regardless, I am rather intrigued by this group in just hearing some of their music on the latest KScope Podcast and now online.
Love the samples (although the ones that include yelling are hit and miss sometimes).
Damn this stuff is dynamic and also very sublime.

God is an Astronaut - Origins (2013)
6/8/13 12:04PM

Drop date is September 16th, with the 1st single on September 2nd. GiaA are a post rock band who I always think of for their use of piano. And their music I have enjoyed, but it's been a little hit and miss. Their best work or songs are brilliant. I just can't say their percentage for being brilliant is incredibly high. But all their music has definitely been worth checking out, no matter. The 2 videos below are 2 of the best tracks by them. Although "Zodiac" doesn't feature as much piano if I recall, and their record Age of the Fifth Sun and S/T record I remember not including as much as their earlier work. Hopefully Origins will; namely since the name suggests it'll be like their earlier or music from their *origins* (early influences?)
http://giaaband.tumblr.com/post/52375020759/rocket-girl-press-release-origins-is-the-seventh
Origins is the seventh full-length album released by God is an Astronaut and sees the band return to Rocket Girl records, who licensed the band’s breakthrough album, All is Violent, All is Bright in 2005. In the eight years since then, GIAA have continued to release albums on their own Revive Records (Far From Refuge, 2007, God is an Astronaut, 2008 and Age of the Fifth Sun, 2010), with limited promotion and yet still amassing a vast following on social media sites (150,000 fans on Facebook, half a million listeners on lastfm.com) and touring extensively, establishing themselves as Ireland’s most intense, incandescent live act.
The new single ‘Spiral Code’ (rgirl99) will be released on 2nd Sept on Rocket Girl, followed by the full length ‘Origins’ (rgirl98) on 16th Sept
also their whole back catalog (6 albums) was remastered and released as a package earlier this year

God is an Astronaut - Age of the Fifth Sun (2010)
New single
I had no idea about this, but it's worth throwing up here. GiaA, a "Post Rock" band who effectively uses piano, which is rare, although maybe becoming a little more common. Their s/t had some nice moments on it, but probably didn't compare with some of their earlier work. I don't have huge expectations for this record, but I'd still go for being pleasantly surprised.
