Like the Vinyl Update video, my apologies for my voice sounding overly nasal per the cold/congestion I was/am battling when I made this video.
Also lack of physical copies of many albums. I own them all, but other than the actual discs, it would probably require a fair amount of time hunting them down. And/or the extended amount of time inserting images and converting the edited video with Premiere Elements, etc.

Jerry Gaskill (King's X) health concerns/HURRICANE SANDY EFFECT
11/1/12 1:05AM
bump.
I know there are so many others going through hell besides Jerry with the effects of this, but among them, Jerry and his wife Julie apparently lost their home due to Hurricane Sandy. The guy, while having a Rollercoaster of a 2012, you'd think Good Karma will eventually find him.

The friends and fans of Jerry Gaskill- King's X are uniting to raise money to help Jerry and his wife Julie rebuild after hurricane Sandy The friends and fans of Jerry Gaskill of King's X and solo success, are uniting to to raise money to help with the devastating losses he and his wife Julie suffered during Hurricane Sandy. Jerry and Julie lost almost every material possession they owned and are displaced from their home.
I spoke with Jerry and he and Julie are ok, and very optimistic of the future, despite losing every material possession to this dreadful storm. It's been one helluva journey for him this year-cheating death, marrying his soul mate, a successful tour with Kansas, the announcement of a new solo project kicking off next month, and now this....
If you know Jerry, you already know that is it not in his DNA to ask for help....per Jerry's words "It's gonna be Alright"....... For me, Jerry has helped me in so many different way that past 3 years, that there is no real way that I could repay him. I'm going to do what I can, and hope you will join in. If you would like to help as well, my wife and I will match the first $1,000 that can be raised. Any gift you can give will be treated as a gift, and is not tax deductible. 3/12/12 12:24AM
the latest news, although baby steps. Very encouraging.
Update!! Julie when to see Jerry today, she said he was in a chair getting his hair
washed, Hes breathing on his own also. Good news!

Kansas with King's X American tour Late Summer/Fall 2012
Kansas Facebook Page
KANSAS TO HEADLINE CONCERTS THROUGHOUT UNITED STATES, JOINED BY KING’S X AND THAT 1 GUY, PREMIUM TICKET OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE
After wrapping the immensely popular KANSAS Collegiate Symphony Tour of Spring 2012, America’s greatest progressive rock band, KANSAS, is transitioning to a more traditional tour approach for the fall. Without missing a beat, the band will be headlining shows in cities throughout the United States from September to November.
Original member and guitar virtuoso, Richard Williams, had this to say about the fall tour, “We are really looking forward to the upcoming shows with King’s X. They're a great band and a force to be reckoned with. It's a tour like this that allows us to dig a little bit deeper into our catalogue and play a few songs that KANSAS fans haven't heard for a while. It's gonna be a lot of fun!”
On most dates, fellow rockers King’s X will support KANSAS on the tour. dUg Pinick stated, “I've been a huge KANSAS fan since the beginning. I remember sitting on the floor with my friends listening to the just released record "Song for America"...fast forward years later, King's X is going on tour with them!! It is an honor to be doing shows with them. This is gonna rock!!” King’s X is also comprised of drummer Jerry Gaskill and lead guitarist Ty Tabor. This tour will mark the first major tour for King’s X since Gaskill’s remarkable recovery from a major heart attack earlier this year.
On select dates the one-man band, That 1 Guy, Mike Silverman, will open the show.
For the first time ever, KANSAS is partnering with Music One Live to offer a limited number of Premium and VIP ticket packages, as well as exclusive merchandise, for most shows. These exciting packages, available for purchase directly from KANSAS’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/kansasband), will offer fans the very best seats in the house. The VIP ticket packages will also provide a limited number of fans a meet and greet photo opportunity with KANSAS. Fans are also encouraged to regularly stay connected with the band’s Facebook page for concert presale information.
With their self-titled first album released in 1974, KANSAS went on to become one of the decade’s most popular rock acts – issuing classic rock albums such as 1976’s ‘Leftoverture’ and 1977’s ‘Point of Know Return,’ along with the hit singles “Carry on Wayward Son” and “Dust In the Wind,” and “Point of Know Return.” The band – which in addition to Williams, is comprised of drummer Phil Ehart, singer/keyboardist Steve Walsh, bassist Billy Greer, and violinist David Ragsdale – continue to tour in front of large and enthusiastic audiences and to this day remain a fixture on classic rock radio.

* Denotes tickets go on sale June 1, 2012
** Denotes King’s X is not confirmed for this date
*** Denotes That 1 Guy is not confirmed for this date
September 22nd at the newest venue in Minnesota "The Brick" (for now, as many shows have been moved from that venue). Seeing Kansas is nice, but not something that's really a longtime coming or looking forward-to, as I've seen them I recall 4 or maybe 5 times, the last being in 2009 or 2010 at Target Center opening for Styx (again) But seeing King's X again, even opening, is a big deal.
However:
a) King's X and this other band "That 1 Guy" are still not yet confirmed for the show in Minneapolis along with many of those other dates yet
b) and this tour, while hopefully will happen, should not by any means be forgotten about King's X and Jerry Gaskill's health. He had a HEART ATTACK only a few months ago, and while he's doing well now, by all indications, having him going out and doing a tour, 6 months later, I can't help but still have some concern.
but, if he is cleared by doctors and feels up for it, and King's X are on the bill in Minneapolis, certainly it'll be another big show to plan for come this September (Rush and Pat Metheny as well, among others).

A message from Jerry Gaskill
haven't watched it as I'm at work. But very encouraging.
(for those who don't know, Jerry, the drummer of King's X, suffered a Heart Attack recently).

King's X - 6/12/91 BURNING DOWN BOSTON (Jerry Gaskill Benefit)
http://molkenmusic.com/store/shop/details.php?id=50
Overview:
** NEW RELEASE - NOW AVAILABLE **
"Burning Down Boston: Live at The Channel 6.12.91" is a special MP3 download-only title. As many of you are aware, King's X drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a serious heart attack in the early morning hours on Sunday 2.26.12. Many of you have overwhelmingly expressed a desire to help and contribute. We have compiled this exclusive live release from the archives -- and 100% of the proceeds from this release will go directly to Jerry to help offset mounting medical expenses. A big THANK YOU goes out to everyone for the outpouring of concern and love.
This release was edited and mastered from a stereo FOH recording. While the audio is far from perfect sonically, the performance documents yet another magical night on tour while supporting the "Faith Hope Love" album. While many of the song titles are familiar, the band expands many of the cuts featured here, including performances that are blistering ("Moanjam"),heavy and funk-laden ("We Are Finding Who We Are"), beautiful ("The Burning Down"), and truly transcendental ("Over My Head").
A few songs from the show were omitted due to tape damage. However, we have included three bonus tracks (an additional 15 minutes) from the same show that were not presented in the main track listing.
All recordings previously unreleased.
14 songs. 89 minutes.
Dear Friends, in addition to the gift with this download, please let anyone who wants to further make a personal gift to Jerry to help him with his medical bills know that they can send a check made out to Jerry Gaskill. Mail it to: Jerry Gaskill, c/o World Entertainment Inc., P.O. Box 3095, Sea Bright, NJ 07760. 100% of your gift goes to Jerry Gaskill to help him defray his medical bills. Jerry Gaskill is an individual and not a charity. Any funds given to him would be a gift and no further tax deduction for charitable contributions would be coming from him. We appreciate your help.
