Refused - Freedom (2014-2015)

6/18/15 1:07AM

another new song/video.

5/26/15 2:30PM

Pretty riffy new track "Françafrique," that reminds me more of their older music.

I'm now wondering if this record could be a bit of a sleeper.

pretty nice stuff, damn.

A lot of drooling is going on over this, which I follow, but my impression is unlike the band they are going out on tour with, Faith No More, this doesn't sound incredibly like their music of so many years ago.

Regardless, nice riff, nice energy. I'm up for a new record from these guys certainly.

The Shape Of Punk To Come is an album I do enjoy, and while I suppose it could be regarded as Punk, it is different and even melodic enough for me, that I don't consider it all that Punk per say.

And this new music of theirs, it seems could be even less so, but good regardless. Maybe their many years broken up, like FNM or say, The Tea Party, will benefit their music.
