Pretty well made (what seems like mostly) A capella medley of a lot of songs from The Dear Hunter, done by a German female musician Taby Pilgrim.
I will say, she often chooses just the part of a verse and the known chorus or melody/theme of each tune. And she sings them mostly if not all in the same key in that, if you heard 5 of them with lyrics, you might think they came from the same song, which the originals are not sang that way.
But part of that could be she seems to have triple/trio tracked them, so they don't stand out as much.
Of course, and I noted below, the extra songs/parts layered into some of the others.
And also I have to go back to/mention the greatest Tribute medley ever in my mind, Shadow Gallery's "Floydian Memories." I still adore that piece, and would love to hear another band do something on that kind of epic scale for another band (which might exist, done live, or just on YouTube like Taby Pilgrim's TDH medley here).

Meaningful Songs: Shadow Gallery - Say Goodbye to the Morning
Shadow Gallery - Say Goodbye to the Morning
one of my favorites from my favorite Shadow Gallery album, the Self-titled Album/EP/Demo, etc.
The way it flows/floats at times and the immortal Mike Baker's vocals never sounded better.
fdghfghfghdfgh
also this was inspired by this recent video chat/tribute on the 10th anniversary of Mike Baker's death in 2008, back on October 29th.
I should sometime write out a long winded story/explanation about my story with Shadow Gallery and my take on their albums.

VIDEO: Shadow Gallery VINYL+ Kimbra concert comments
Unfortunately the memory card filled up unexpectedly (I need to delete a ton of things on it, although it can take some time to do oddly).
But I just showed that Shadow Gallery vinyl I got last week from Korea, and then per the Kimbra concert and apparel, I make a comment or 2 about it. I maybe want to record a Podcast about it soon to follow-up that long review I did last week.

The Year 1998 Albums Calendar and Rankings
The year 1998 was a year I was in the thick of Dream Theater fandom I suppose, as I got to see them live for the 2nd time with ELP and Deep Purple.
And of course their new side project Liquid Tension Experiment came out on the heals of Falling Into Infinity, a polarizing record for many. LTE though most loved, and I will admit I did enjoy then, but probably more now as I wasn't as into instrumental rock music up until that point.
But looking at the rankings and calendar, 1998 was quite a deep year, compared to some other years. But at the same time, there doesn't seem to be any all-time favorites.
dredg's Leitmotif is a great debut album, quite original and does not overstay its welcome. And I came to learn about its cool concept/story after enjoying it for awhile. I suppose by default, and my love of dredg, it is my favorite album from 1998. But it's interesting scanning the list, many of the other albums I could easily rank higher than it, as many are albums that are my favorites from said artists (Superior, Jeff Buckley, Chroma Key, VAST, Mansun, Platypus, Pushmonkey).
But it's splitting hairs I guess. I look at this year and calendar as having many (20-25 or more) very good, 3.5-4 star albums. With a few at least bordering on 4.5.
In other words, not Top Heavy, but DEEP and in a matter of speaking.

So that does it for the 1980's and 1990's Albums Calendars. I'll add something in a bit about the plans coming up. But in here, it does give me a sense of accomplishment to finish off 2 more decades worth of these and seeing the light finally at the end of the tunnel.
