This was just announced from Amanda's mailing List. I can't find anything online with this info presently (although I haven't scoured her Facebook page yet)
But the 1st Ave date is nice, although on a Wednesday evening. I wonder how much of the Artwork and things will be on display and/or where. I don't think Minneapolis is getting one of those expensive gallery/party's that a lot of the cash from the Kickstarter is going towards.

i've been hoping and praying to be able to do this for YEARS - to sell tickets directly to my audience without ticketmaster and other middle-people.
you may have seen what LOUIS C.K. is doing over in his world - he's taken his direct-to-fan ticketing 100% and is literally selling every one of his tickets HIMSELF off his website.
we're not totally there yet - i still have to play ball with the giant system of venues and promotors and the world at large, BUT i've at least managed to free up about 10-20% of all venue tickets to sell direct to you guys.

for the first leg of the tour - north america part 1 - we'll have awesome support. there's Grand Theft Orchestra guitarist chad raines' band, THE SIMPLE PLEASURE (who people have been falling in love with), as well as boston's very own premier 80's saxaphone sensation RONALD REAGAN, Boston's Premier 80's Pop Saxophone Duo. Grand Theft bassist and arranger/composer JHEREK BISCHOFF will be giving us a dose of BEAUTIFUL string quartet music off his newly released album "composed"...using musicians we are planning to SOURCE FROM EVERY CITY! so...if you ARE, or KNOW know any fantastic HORN PLAYERS or STRING PLAYERS (especially if they come as a group/quartet/section) in ANY OF THESE CITIES - watch this space! we'll be COMING FOR YOU...soon! WE NEED YOU TO PLAY THIS ALBUM PROPERLY! no horns, no strings, sad tour. we're going to steal all your local musicians with glee. this is the plan, anyway. GRAND THEFT ORCHESTRA IMPLEMENTATION.

this first batch is going to go on sale on monday morning EST on my site. we don't have the EXACT time yet, but we expect it'll be around 10AM or so. i'll tweet it and post to facebook and all that jazz, so be at your keyboards.
please realize, this means there will be TWO waves of ticket sales, the direct ones (first, on the 9th) and then the rest will go up for the general public (on friday july 13th). as soon as we have direct links to all of the shows, we'll add them to my shows page.
almost all of our shows this summer sold out within a day - some within a few hours - so if you do try and get tickets on monday and there aren't any more left, don't fret. the direct allotment will sell out FAST so have your fingers on the buttons when they go on sale....
i'm hoping this works out. it's an experiment. we'll see.
