Tales from a Tour Bus: Morris Day (+Prince) MIKE JUDGE

This is an interesting telling, with the Rotoscope/Animated interpretation, narrated by of all people, Beavis and Butt-Head's Mike Judge.

Morris Day is the center of this story, but it does tell and show some of the behind-the-scenes stuff that while I know has been talked about and shown in some documentaries, some of the details maybe have not been included that this does.

The whole thing is maybe 25 minutes long? you just click on the next video, but I linked all of them below.

Jellybean Johnson, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are among those interviewed. Alexander O'Neal was not though, although his role is kind of limited I guess in the history of The Time and their relationship with Prince.

I mean I knew Prince and Morris (and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis) didn't have the smoothest relationship; and the rivalry shown in Purple Rain was very similar to their real-life relationship.

What I am surprised is they didn't mention about Morris did return to work with Prince again in Graffiti Bridge

It's notable how my wife and I did get to see Morris Day and the Time at Mystic Lake Casino about a year ago. He did put on a great show.
