The other odd thing is with Joyce and KFAI radio. I have often had this image of her and maybe I with the Mew song "Louise Louisa" being down at KFAI. Right around the time we met or more likely a few months later when we started dating. The lyric "what a day I've had. What a day...I've had"..Either 1 day she went down to KFAI after having a long day at work, after coming from the Barnes and Noble in downtown Minneapolis which wasn't too far from KFAI.
But in now remembering the details, these photos from March 25th, 2011. On a Friday Night.
Part of it was, sort of the surreal nature of actually realizing she was interested in me. It's 1 of those things that maybe at the time doesn't fully resonate with you at the time, but later you realize how significant it was.
I remember that popped into my head in listening to And the Glass Handed Kites and made me appreciate that song, as sad as it was. It was almost like a premonition. I even recall telling Joyce vaguely about this, and how sad it made me. But I never realized it would hold extra meaning after what happened to her.
I totally forgot about what she was even wearing that night, and I'll admit I wanted some kind of way to remember it, but doubted there would be. But we took these photos of her, which captured it for me now.
