Hints of 90s dance music, electronic synth pop, heavily effected violin and angular guitar stabs along with the trademark euphoric wall of sound, intense melodies and Stephen's lyrical baritone vocal delivery. The EP also features guest performances from Bastille’s Charlie Barnes, cellist Jo Quail and Gabby Young.
The artwork features a hyper-realistic self-‘double portrait’ painting on glass by BP Portrait Award Nominated artist Ben Ashton. The album was mixed by TJ Allen (Bat for Lashes) and mastered by Ian Carter (Ghostpoet, Stick in the Wheel).
