With what I'm going through, the stories in many of these keep coming to mind. DS9 of course being my favorite show. And Up, while it's not maybe the biggest premise, it is a rather big part of the story.
Joyce even said to me not long after that phone call on June 13th, this is not Up. But, if I do go to Vegas to see the Hello Kitty Cafe and especially England to see the George Michael statue (and Mural..plus his house), it will kind of remind me more of what the Carl character does in Up to fulfill his and his late wife's dreams.
I'm not sure how I feel about that. On 1 hand, Up is a touching film, full of humor and melancholy. On the other hand, it is so sad, to go through that in my own life isn't easy to cope with.
