In Keeping Secrets is damn good as well. But I actually feel as much of a dud NWFT was, it still had more music I prefer to Second Stage.

Sorry, but I'm not into emo or punk, and Coheed had more evidence of that, and less progressive rock influence on that record. Is Second Stage a horrible record? no, but it sounds like a lot of debut records; some flashes of talent, but not refined enough. All the people who drool over that record I've never understood why. A bit like the dredg fans who always go back to saying they have never (and may never) do anything better than Leitmotif. Which to my feeling is, I never would have liked either of thowe bands had I listened to those albums 1st.AllMediaReviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04315260771605880930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-328506296897105821.post-19742093994804685842010-03-04T12:25:00.308-06:002010-03-04T12:25:00.308-06:00After 2nd Stage, their egos got as big as Claudio&...After 2nd Stage, their egos got as big as Claudio's (lame) hair. NWFT was a bit of a let down but had it's moments. Will see if Chris Pennie had found his nitch if so this bands could be back on track to take over the world.. hehe shabutieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
